A new album, a world tour and a great setlist with lots of surprises (little joke - sorry). Lots of great audience recordings from the current tour have seen the light of day and many are still to come. I received a box of not less than 44 audience tapes from the late 80's and early 90's. Most of them are unconfirmed first-gen directly from the master tapes. To remember that there have been monumental tours before like the WVT in 1990 I deceided to make high quality tape transfers of these tapes. Some cover artwork for these tapes would be very much appreciated if anybody wants to give this project a "face". I used a high-end Nakamichi tape deck for these raw tape transfers, no compression, no equalizing, no dolby. In most cases these transfers are 100% what we have on tape including all the cuts, crackles, hiss and flaws, speed issues and distortions, clappers and talkers. In some cases I did some level adjust and removed cuts. Some of these tapes may have suffered over the last 25 - 30 years. Each torrent contains two versions. The first version is a 16bit/44,1kHz version ready to burn on cd-r. On most transfers there’s a fade-out and fade-in according to the tape switch. Some volume boost (-2dB each chanel independently) and track splitting was performed using audacity on this first version. The second version is a raw and unedited 24bit/48kHz for remasters or merges. Please un-click this separate folder if you only want to listen to the cd-r version - you won't need it! Note: major upgrade to my previous version, speed issued fixed (+ 3%). Removed some minor cuts. PAP is missing on both versions of this tape (only the first milisecond can be heard - then there's a cut). Between BC and AQOT you can hear some people discuss - somebody sayS "er nimmt auf..." (he's taping) but the girl seems not to understand what they are trying to explain :-( Please leave comments about quality compared to previous version. Feel encouraged to share your rare uncirculated recordings instead of posting thanks-like comments. Support the artist, go to their shows and purchase their official releases. Convert to any lossy format only for your own (ab-)use. Please share in original flac files only with info file attached. Enjoy.
