Created this text file. Notes: Courtesy of the Stonecutter Archives is this early Bunnygig, finding them at the midway point between when they recorded "Rescue" and released it as a single. Their debut album was still four months away from the public. The Psychedelic Furs and The Teardrop Explodes also shared this bill. This one is a fresh transfer off a 33-year-old cassette, but it has been around before -- don't have the prior share to see how it compares. Recording sounds like it was recorded close to the speakers, and a distance away from what are presumably 60 or so people in attendance. An odd-sounding recording for sure, as if you were listening to a soundcheck. If you like bass, then this will suit you fine, otherwise it may seem a tad heavy. The guitar lines ring clear, and the vocals are given their requested reverbed step back. Mac repeats the chorus of "Get Off My Cloud" in the middle of "Villiers Terrace" and may be channeling Scott MacKenzie during parts of the last two songs.
