Created this text file. Band line-up: Ian McCulloch - guitar, vocals Will Sergeant - lead guitar Les Pattinson - bass Pete de Freitas - drums -- and -- Ray Manzarek - keyboards on t07, t14, and t15 Notes: First of two nights at the Concerts on the Pier, on a bill with Gene Loves Jezebel and New Order. During this summer, the Stonecutter audio equipment wasn't operational, so aud video was done instead. What we have here, however, is the first gen audio from another taper, which was later procured by the Stonecutter Archives and is new to circulation. Soundwise, this leans towards the tinny side -- purely a guess, but it sounds and looks like the work of a BBE Sonic Maximizer or some other analog equalizer may have been laid down between the master cassette and the first gen tape. That said, it's a very clear recording with minimal audience noise. Mac shifts from crooning Morrison-style in Ray Manzarek's presence to a tip to Ol' Blue Eyes and NYC on the final number. Enjoy, elegymart
