Biko [15:56] Source: minimax master-series #087, Master - Audience recording from my old TDK-Sa C-90 Tapes This concert I taped with an AIWA walkman and an extra microphone (I can't remember what microphone it was). I recorded it from the middle of the audience-mob about 10 meters from the stage. The sound quality is very good +, it is a nice and typical audience recording. This was the first time I saw Peter Gabriel that year. The concert at Cologne, some call that town Köln, followed a few days later. And I saw him at the Werchter Open Air Festival in July. And Rotterdam followed later too.., oh, and a part of the Open Air-show at Bochum. After all, for me it was the best tour he ever did. I taped all the other shows except the show at Bochum which was seeded here before. Sooner or later you will find all these masters here too. Or you have found 'em way back in the last years...When I first saw him way back in 1977 on his first solo-tour at Münster, Germany, it was a bit curious, I did not like it that much (Hey folks, I did tape that show too!! But I threw the cassette away because it sounded really really lousy!! O.k., nowadays I think I would let it show it up here too!), but he became better through the years until that year. ..and now, I did not like those later shows after 1987 very much. Too much show. O.k., if the show from Dortmund in 1993 would show up here I would dl it only because I was there. Never ever seed that show from Oberhausen many years ago where he had that round stage-design where I was in the front row (one of the big big faults in my life) and where he had all these special effects like doing some gym with a bike or a huge plastic ball or walking head-over hanging in the stage lamps. Or when his daughter sat in a boat. Why the hell was she sitting in a boat? Anyway: Hope you like it!! and -once again- keep your eyes open for more of my Peter Gabriel masters to follow. Again: This one is dedicated to the beaver from Stuttgart! Do not sell. For trading only. ..and -of course- for fun! Support the artist. Buy his records and merch. Go to his older shows.
