Reseeded by eckythump December 2019. Original linage information: Audience master > ? > Cassette > CDR > dBpowerAMP > WAV > FLAC Frontend > Flac files Show notes: R.E.M. were still years away from becoming big in England, but thanks to touring and the praise of the British music press they had established a cult following and delivered a great show here. Show highlights include a very early peformance of 'See No Evil' (debuted on this leg of the tour after learning it from the DB's who played it while supporting them a few months prior to this show), a great segway from 9-9 to Windout, a nice We Walk medley (ein zwei drei vier!), a very rare performance of Peter's most hated song 'Wendell Gee', and Jeff Connolly from support act Lyres joining them on an old cover standard that goes back to their very early days. Torrent notes: This is a great sounding recording that I'm not sure has been resseded since it originally appeared on Dime almost 13 years ago. The original torrent notes stated "This is a nice, crisp recording with lots of high end. I do not know the lineage, but I got my tape from a person in London about one year after the show took place, so I am assuming it is very close to the master". This is a great addition to your R.E.M. collection. I added an ffp and md5 which the original torrent didn't have, and added a flyer and ticket for the show. The recording itself has been untouched. Thanks to the original uploader and taper for preserving these precious memories. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 664064 (by eckythump)
