"First of five straight shows JEMS covered on the first leg of the 'Green World Tour with Robyn Hitchcock as the opener. Fairly straightforward set for era, as would be the next three nights leading up to Tempe. The '89 tour marked the welcome addition of  "Perfect Circle" to the set, which had been unplayed by the band to date. A bit of Peter Gabriel's "Red Rain" is amended to the end of the show-closing "South Central Rain.""
