This time recorded by the inimitable RS (this comes from the master, I believe) I think there's a bit of taper chit chat going on before Orange Crush (I can't quite make it out). As with Concord, R.E.M. are firmly in their stride here, on the homeward stretch of a long world tour, which would end, officially, month later in Macon, GA. Anyway they stick doggedly to task at hand, and get through pretty much the whole show with no deviations or hesitations. Stipe announces that he needs a pee before Get Up, but he thankfully ties a knot in it. A short burst of Word Up! in the middle of After Hours ensures that the band gets over the 2 hours mark... just! Quality is great, better than the Concord one from last week. It runs pretty hot though, so you might want to ease back on the volume/bass a little (check out the long deep drone at the end of King Of Birds, if it really was that intense, it would have been fucking cool). I think it was probably fucking cool throughout to be fair. Enjoy. - Clumsiloe for JEMS Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 675622 (by clumsiloe)
