Acoustic show under the pseudonym Bingo Handjob. R.E.M. w/Peter Holsapple, Robyn Hitchcock, Billy Bragg and Mike Mills. During this short tour they performed live only three times: once in Milan as REM and twice at The Borderline in London using the pseudonym of "Bingo Hand Job". This is the second night which was added by popular demand. At the beginning of track 3 Stipe introduces this song as a New Order cover called 'Bizarre Love Triangle', but then procedes into 'Fretless'. This must have been an inside joke. REM played many covers including The Troggs'"Love is All Around" which was sung by Mike Mills. This is the entire evenings performance, clocking in at 2 hours. I know there is a amatuer video and a liberated boot titled 'From The Borderline' by Red Phantom Records. I haven't heard that release, so I don't know if it's a different source then Rich's tapes. I'm sure Rich will have a more personal insight to this recording. The sound quality on this is quite good. Enjoy George
