A few rarities were sprinkled throughout the show (Wolves, Sad Professor, the only peformance of Radio Free Europe for the tour), and the last ever performances of Suspicion, The Apologist, Hope and Why Not Smile. A rousing 10 minute version of It's The End Of The World closed the show, and the tour. Up is an album that's frequently overlooked in the R.E.M. discograpghy, but upon reflection I think it has some really strong songs, and they translated extremely well to the live setting (maybe Sad Professor is a bit plodding live...). A really great show to end the tour! Recording notes: An excellent sounding recording, the taper here did a fine job. Nice and clear, you'll enjoy listening to this one. Some background audience noise can be heard at times, but it's not too distracting. Torrent notes: I can only find evidence of this show being on Dime once before, in September 2009, and the info the uploader provided there was extremely minimal, so I can't confirm whether this is the same recording or not, but I suspect it is (I received this directly from someone else with a different text file). This is a great recording for any R.E.M. fan to have in their collection, and serves as a reminder of what a great tour this was. Enjoy! Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 674859 (by eckythump)
