Michael's introduction says it all: "We came here today from London. It's an understatement to say that this has been a difficult couple of days for everyone. Music is, at it's best, about catharsis, about epiphany, about feeling, about remembering, about community and about celebration - about celebrating life. The intention here tonight and with this gesture is to honour that; not to forget but to remember and to honour the sanctity of life. Together, tonight, let's raise our voices up in celebration and in remembrance." This was taped right at the very front, on the barrier. I felt I had to keep the mics well hid, unfortunately at times they rubbed on my clothing and you can hear that I when I move, and particularly if I applaud there's a bit of rumble. This is basically the reason that this recording has sat in the can for so long, and I lost the can. I found it yesterday so, I compared to the alternative version by Remer and found it be worthwhile sharing as an alternative. So here you go, knock yourselves out. Shout out to Jo S, Chris S and the all the others I was there with at the front that day. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 671894 (by clumsiloe)
