Highlights include Wolves, Lower which was only played 4 times in 2008, the extremely rarely played Staring Down The Barrel Of The Middle Distance was only performed one other time that year, and any setlist that includes Find The River is a winner for me. The encore featured Eddie Vedder, with apparently all of Pearl Jam at the show, who were also on tour and were playing in Camden, NJ the following day. Johnny Marr, who was playing in Modest Mouse at the time joined for Fall On Me and Man On The Moon, as he did at a number of shows at the time. Although the audience didn't know it at the time, this was a great show to say goodbye to Philadelphia. Sadly, Bill Rieflin passed away recently at time of posting this. RIP Bill. Recording notes: This is an excellent sounding recording, the taper doing a very fine job. Crisp sounding and very little audience interference makes this one of the best reocrdings of the 2008 tour. Torrent notes: This was originally seeded to Dime by driver8rws on 23 August 2008 who is no longer on Dime, at least not under that name. I don't think it's been seeded here since. For fans of 2008 vintage R.E.M. if you don't have this one I highly recommend it. http://remtimeline.com/ for all your R.E.M. setlist needs! Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 673972 (by eckythump)
