Outro [2:40] Total Running Time: [1:42:10] minimax master-series #286 Master - Audience recording Taping-location: opposite the stage in block 201, a bit on the left side, with very good view on the stage Sound-quality: excellent Recording: complete concert - Roddie gave us no encore Equipment: Zoom H4N - Sound professional microphones SP-CMC-8 - SP-SPSB-8 Sound Professionals Mini Battery Module concert-info: once again Mr. Minimax got a free ticket for work and had to walk over to a concert. This time it's old old Roddie. When you go over to a Rod Stewart-concert you know what to expect: some new (this time as he made a new record a few weeks ago) and a lot of old, familar stuff, one instrumental song for giving him the possibility to dress up new, some footballs for the audience and some guys who have all the luck. I hope I'm right because I put down these lines in advantage. Oh, forgot to mention: expected a Las vegas-show. And what did we all get? A Las Vegas-show. But a nice one. One or two things about this concert here: Rod Stewart changed his complete band just right before this gig, so my beautiful artwork does not fit anymore with the band-members who appeared here at Dortmund. I did not have the time anymore to make there any corrections. So sorry, folks!!! And - I have no idea - if he does have the shoe-problem each and every night during Maggie Mae, so if it's part of the show or if this was a humorous part on this special evening only. Anyway, he changed his shoes before that song, couldn't walk with the left one, had to change it during singing the verses and needed help by changing to new shoes and "binding the Schnürsenkel" together by a women. Hmm..that old man!! Then Roddie got pissed on. In between the "Football kicking in the audience"-section during Hotlegs someone kicked a ball back on stage to the disbelieve of Mr. Stewart. He told the band immediately to stop the song, asked the audience what that was and continued with the next few and last songs without talking to us anymore, without saying goodnight and without an encore. For me that was a big luck, so I did not get another "Sailing" anymore. Puh!!! But, what a blasted guy he can be: when there's just one guy in the audience who kicks a ball back to his disbelieve he's so pissed on that he's no more into a concert. That scratches his ego so much that he cannot "unterscheid" whether it was only one person or thousand other people in the whole Westfalenhalle. Very poor, very poor!! Support Roddie and his group. Buy his records on vinyl and merch. Never kick any football back on stage or you get killed. Go to his concerts!!!! Style your hair like only he can do it, if you still have got hairs!! This one is dedicated to Elisabeth!!
