I have omitted "Hymns From A Haunted Ballroom" as it appears on the release “Working For The Yankee Dollar” Gatefold 7” EP -> Also omitted is the March 10, 1979 BBC Radio 1 Concert as it has been officially released by ROIR as "BBC Radio 1 Live". There is an available live version of “TV Stars” on B Side of “Into The Valley” but it was recorded at The Marquee on November 1, 1978. Notes:
Here is a must have for not only fans of The Skids but also fans of Big Country and U2 who have an interest in seeing where The Edge borrowed parts of his signature guitar sound and where Stuart Adamson's professional roots began.
A Scottish art-punk band formed in Dunfermline in 1977, The Edge self admits he lifted half his guitar sound from The Skids (the other half being from PIL's-Keith Levene) and the opening of "Of One Skin" was totally lifted for U2's "Out Of Control". It is also where Big Country's Stuart Adamson began perfecting his signature bagpipe like guitar sound.
This is a near complete history of The Skids live on the John Peel Sessions.
The April 30, 1979 session is out of order due to a bit of confusion over this session.
I originally received this session undated as "Capitol 1 Radio Session" at the end of the September 1, 1980 Session.  After listening to it, Stuart Adamson is clearly the guitar player and the song selection would date this as the April 30th John Peel session.  "Masquerade" and "Hymns From A Haunted Ballroom" were only played at the April 30th session from what I can tell, of course “Hymns…” has been omitted due to official release. 
The following John Peel Session songs are not in my possession, if you happen to have them it would be nice to make this complete: An Incident In Algiers (September 1, 1980 Session) / War Poets (April 30, 1979 Session) / Withdrawal Symptoms (April 30, 1979 Session).
