New Years Day (Soundcheck) [4:49] Source: Analog Cassette (Unknown Generation)>CoolEdit2000>CDWAve>Flac Frontend (Level 8) Complete Show: No (See notes & track listing below) Transfered by: RossMan (imabitter@yahoo.com) Recording Notes: Average recording for unknown source analog recording. Major editing had to been done to edit out blank gaps. Although, I left one gap in... Track 05, "Two Hearts", had a major drop out but I left it in because you can hear the song continue through the hiss. The volume slowly fades up a little and then returns abruptly to normal. Track 06, "Seconds", was cut short and the first couple of seconds of track 07, "Sunday Bloody Sunday" is clipped. There was a tape flip right at the beginning of track 11, "New Years Day". I managed to keep it together as much as possible. Edits also had to be made between "Gloria" (disc 2, track 03) & "Party Girl" (Disc 2, track 04), and between "I Will Follow" (Disc 2, track 06) & "40" (Disc 2, track 07). The recording is not complete as it missing the opening song, "Out Of Control". Other then those edits, I just normalized to 98% and faded in and out. I have also included the soundcheck from this show as well. It is unknown if it is from the same source/taper as the show itself. Although, it does sound like the same recorder. The first soundcheck song is unknown. Sound very Cure like.
