The right channel of the original recording had too much tape hiss to be usable so I decided to keep only the left channel which turned out to be quite good once the volume was boosted. I trimmed the 2 seconds of silence at the end of each track to try to have a seamless transition between tracks. It worked for some tracks but not all, some data is missing from the original files. "40" is incomplete and ends abruptly after about 38 seconds. At a couple of places some guy placed near the taper screams at the top of his lungs causing the recording level to drop for a few seconds afterwards. I did not correct that. I also left out the radio interview (track 9 of disc 2 of the original torrent) because the sound was just too horrible.

Remaster process (using Sound Forge Pro 11.0):
01/ Converted to stereo using only the left channel
02/ Increased volume for all tracks by +25,4 dB (no clipping)
03/ Trimmed 2 seconds silence at the end of all tracks
04/ Split former track 1 ("4th of July" / "11 O'Clock Tick Tock")
05/ Added fade-in to "4th of July"
06/ Split former track 7 (Bono talking about the rig problem and the 20 minutes break / "Two Hearts Beat As One")
07/ Added fade-out to track 8 ("Bono Talking")
08/ Removed dead air at the end of track 12 ("Bono Talking")
09/ Removed silence at the beginning of track 13 ("A Sort of Homecoming")
10/ Removed dead air at the end of track 20 ("40")
11/ Tagged and converted to FLAC with EZ CD Audio Converter v7.1.2
