Recorded from in front of the right 2 stacks, ~100 feet back, parallel to Larry's T-stage drumkit. Lineage: Sound Forge (Normalized RMS to -16dB, channel swap) > FLAC Recorded by hugehead83, redknight_@hotmail.com Notes: We walked in as the Lumineers were starting, so I did not get much time to test. They finished around 7:55. Larry walked on stage to start Sunday Bloody Sunday at 8:41, and U2's final bow was at 10:45 PM. Per local radio plugs and stadium ushers, there were ~60,000 fans expected, including over 10,000 on the floor. I dusted off my old equipment and came out of taper retirement for this show. I guess I was rusty. My levels left this a bit saturated, and I'm sorry to those in attendance who wanted a better souvenir than this. If anyone wants the original/raw wave files to try and produce better results, please email me. NRG Stadium continues to hold the record for worst acoustics. The closed roof made it worse, but was understandably closed due to weather this week. You could tell the band could still sound as good as they always have, but large venues like this don't do them justice. It did not sound much better than this recording in person.
