Read details below. Source #1: Multiple Wireless Receivers > Multitrack Recorder (24/44.1) > Demucs (htdemucs_ft) > Reaper DAW Recorded by: hoserama/sharebear Source #2: DPA 4061 > CA-UGLY > Tascam DR2d @ 24/48 Recording location: Section 206, row 7 (first row of section) Recorded by: Tapehead2 Note: Files are 24/44.1 untracked wave files Show Notes: Another highlight show of the Sphere. Second to last show for 2023, and saw some unique songs in the acoustic set. Energy level was high, easily the best of the three shows that week (and in my top 3 of Sphere shows so far). Recording Notes: Put together something of an unconventional release. To give a little insight into recording, I've been recording all four band member feeds plus Bono's wireless microphone. From there, I'll take the feeds, clean them up of static, remove the counts, and remove most/all of the click track. Once the feeds are scrubbed, I'll run them through an AI stemming program, which breaks each feed into a Vocals/Bass/Drums/Other stem. The stems are loaded into my DAW, where I mix to flavor. Each of the stem types are routed to a submix. So for example, the bass submix includes the bass stems from Edge + Adam + Bram. Those submixes are what's included in this release. You're getting most of the hardest work of IEM mixing done already, and just have some fun making your own mix. Time alignment, static cleanup, click removal, count removal, stemming, etc. has all been done for you. Heck, for those aspiring drummers or guitarists, feel free to play along to these stems. Finally, they're not true stems, in the sense of coming from a multitrack off the soundboard. Sometimes things will bleed over into one--crowd noise in particular seems to sometimes land in the vocals stems. Beyond the four stem submixes, there's the time aligned DPA 4061 audience recording courtesy of tapehead2. I've gone through it and zapped a lot of errant crowd noise and such. There's also an ambient mic stem, which is derived from the Bono stereo IEM. Most of the musical elemets in Bono's feed are panned to the center, but they have wide stereo ambient mics that are manually cued by the monitor engineer. So I've cut out the center, just leaving the sides. There will be some occasional stereo music elements, but it's handy for the extra wide crowd noise. If you dial it up too high you'll hear a lot of artifacts though. In any case, feel free to make your own mix! Please ask before torrenting or posting publicly. I'm going to do a fun little contest (with a prize!) on the mixing. As always, encouraging people to get into taping and mixing. Just take the craft seriously and it will reward you many times over. There's no point in complaining about missing recordings or subpar quality if you're not contributing--pushing 1's and 0's around on the internet is no comparison for taping. Please don't sell this recording in any way. Please do not use this audio for any video project or personal youtube/soundcloud/etc. page. In general, please do not post on any other site without my written permission. While it's released for free on the internet, and I can take no real action if somebody takes the audio, I ask that you honor this simple request. After all, the only logical alternative to stop folks co-opting the audio is to simply stop releasing material on the internet, and just restrict it for sharing with other tapers. Be a part of the solution, not the problem. Enjoy y'all! - Hoserama U2Torrents.com: Torrent 10997 (by sharebear)
