Comments: Another great performance in the Achtung Baby Sphere residency; this show had "royalty" in the audience in the form of Priscilla Presley and Peter Gabriel (I assume they were not sitting together, but who knows -- they separately got shout-outs). Sound quality is very good to excellent. Recorded from the floor, I think that this source sounds a bit more "immediate" and less boomy than the equally good Tapehead2 recording; she mentioned having a favorable crowd near her except for one exuberant fan -- on this source, there doesn't appear to be any interference from audience members close to the taper, but there is low-level chatter that you have to get used to during the quiet parts. Having seen one of these shows, I can't imagine spending $500+ to get onto the floor for a show as mindblowing as this and then talking throughout it, but that's just me. (My group was transfixed and stunned into silence for the whole show we attended.) I don't think one source is inherently better than the other; I'd suggest you grab them both and choose for yourself. (If some enterprising fan tries to matrix them, know that the "Viva Las Vegas" section before Elevation is edited out on this source.) Check out the samples in the comments if in doubt. Many thanks to TallTaper for taping and sharing. I was just the helper who EQ'd and tracked it. Dimeadozen.org: Torrent 767753 (by ademotte)
