"The U2 Story" A 1992 "Weekly Specials" Program From Unistar Radio 1 Hr/1CD

This is the one hour episode of the Unistar Radio Network's series "The Weekly Specials" devoted to U2 with music and interviews originally broadcast the weekend of February 14-16, 1992 in the U.S. It's hosted by pioneering and long-time New York DJ Patty Steele. This show was timed to coincide with the release of U2's “Achtung Baby” album, but focuses more on U2's work leading up to the release of that album.

There are six interview segments with The Edge and four with Bono. Songs in this program include Pride (In The Name of Love), With or Without You, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, In God's Country, Where The Street Have No Name, Desire, When Love Comes To Town, Angel of Harlem, The Fly and Mysterious Ways.

It's the first time this material has seen daylight in a quarter century. You'll get the original CD in great, used-once-for-broadcast condition, the original box it was shipped in and the run sheet. The run sheet has been written on by broadcast station production staff. All cuts were spot checked in my trusty 2013 Dell laptop. They locked up and played as intended. Original network commercials to be broadcast by stations that aired the program are included on the CDs.
