WIRF Radio - Phone interview with The Edge (hotel room)

The Edge was interviewed (calling from his hotel room) by an unknown radio journalist. They talked about:
- his favourite show on tv: Edge watches Zoo TV a lot, he thinks that ads are most entertaining on tv,
- coming back to play in bigger venues for fans who didn't get tickets for the indoor shows,
- the "Outside Broadcast" production being completely over the top,
- the show being a "visual orgasm", being a lot of fun putting the show together,
- the "Greenpeace" support after the Manchester show in June 1992,
- a planned demonstration against the "Sellafield" power station which was forbidden for "safety reasons",
- his favourite guitar players Jimi Hendrix, Tom Verlaine, Neil Young,
- his favourite bands (at the moment) Sonic Youth, Pixies, Front 242, The Young Gods, KMDFM,
- the appearance of the MTV Awards via a satellite link on the Pontiac show (no decision about the song yet),
- liking b-sides of singles because there is less pressure than on album tracks, 
- the band The Disposible Heroes Of Hiphoprisy,
- an ICE-T quote,
- no ritual before a show,
- the band "House Of Pain".
