Quality is excelent. This is a very cool Docu about Sting recording the "Mercury Falling" album, around 1996. I am very sorry to have to admitt i don't have the info about when this aired or if this has circulated before. Interviewer is Melvyn Brass. Sting is interviewd at his house, and it has some minor footage of the band playing/Rehearsing e.g. "I Hung My Head", "I'm So Happy, I Can't Stop Crying" (But As I Said, don't expect too much about the playing, i even doubt that it's live at moments) The band consists of Dominic Miller, Kenny Kirkland, Vinnie Colaiuta & "The Memphis Horns" Sting also talks about how he got in contact with Jazz, and you see a few seconds of him & Kenny Kirkland playing. Then we have some comments by Andy Summers, Stewart Copeland & Bob Geldhof about the success of The Police. also sketches from Concerts. There is a Part of Sting's 44th Birthday (Eating Cake, etc.) The whole thing ends with a large Gospel-group coming at Sting's house or studio to Sing the "Let Your Soul, Be Your Pilot" Verse. And then part the song is performed by the whole Band. Sting speaks a little bit about what he thinks of the media, and that's about it. additional infos: "NPS - Het uur van de Wolf" (Dutch TV, also Dutch-Subtitled) xx-xx-1996. "LTW Production".
