STING VH1 Storytellers Promo VHS Transfer 
Recorded at Stephen's Talkhouse in Amagansett, Long Island on July 15, 1996

Note: 
This is from a VH1 tape of some sort - some think it's a promo tape, the person I got this from in a trade said: "From MASTERING VHS - Quality: 9/10. This come from mastring VHS, so without the commercials and logo..." Whatever that means. It is transferred from this tape to a standalone DVD recorder. The DVD I received had a generic standalone menu and no chapters. I added menus and track indexes. The VOB files from the original DVD were demuxed and then authored it in DVD Studio Pro 4.1 so no transcoding or loss of quality. Anyway, I have seen VH1 "promo" VHS tapes sold of various TV shows such as Storytellers and Behind The Music. There are also some lists of this promo VHS that has two additional tracks: If I Ever Lose My Faith In You and Love Is Stronger Than Justice. If such a thing really exists, it would be an additional upgrade to this one.

In this exellent show, Sting plays amazing versions of his classics and tells the story behind each song. Sting takes the storyteller concept seriously and chats in-depth about his songs and songwriting technique, often stopping mid-track to highlight some point.
