Appearing with a slightly changed 'Broken Music' line up featuring Dominic Miller and Lyle Workman on guitars and Josh Freese on drums, Sting performed a twenty song set that mainly echoed his recent setlist from the Spring tour of the US but with the inclusion of 'Fragile' as the closing song. Sorce: TVP2 Broadcast Lineage: direct capture from TVP2 (Hotbird-13 east) with Skystar 2 pci dvb-s card to HDD>edited in TMPGEnc MPEG Editor>Authored in TMPGenc DVD Author. Tracks are chaptered and there is a main mmenu Notes: This was broadcast 'live' on Polish TVP (TVP2) in two parts, the first 45 minutes went out live, but then the channel broke for new, weather, current affairs programming, then returned 30 minutes later with the rest of the concert-which was then being shown as 'tape delayed'. Unfortunately, they missed off one song (fields Of Gold) when the broadcast came back (If you listen carefully you'll hear the start of it as the first part of the show fades out). ON a quality note: the broadcast itself-both audio and video was pretty poor quality. To start with, TVP2 only uses a very low (3.5mb/sec variable) bit rate for it's video, and it also broadcasts in the non DVD standard 544 x 576. I've not re-encoded the footage at all, I've just changed the video header to get my authoring program to accept it-it should play just fine on all but the pickiest DVD players that can handle the PAL format. The audio sounds far more 'compressed' than a 192kb MPEG LayerII stream normally does. All that said, it's still a nice show that is in the best possible quality that it can be in.
