Sting performs songs from his new album The Last Ship in an intimate live performance recorded earlier this year at the Public Theatre, New York. Inspired by the shipbuilding community of Wallsend in the north east of England where Sting was born and raised, the songs form part of his forthcoming Broadway play. For his first new work in a decade he and his band, many of whom hail from the north east, are joined by actor and singer Jimmy Nail.

This is different capture and edit via DVB-S and also contains the performances on Later with Jools Holland Show (Season 43 Episode 1)on 17th and 20th September 2013 which as far as I am aware have not been uploaded. I was in 2 minds as to whether to upload this as the only "new" material is the Jools stuff but as it is freeloading time I thought I would upload for those that want it.Being absolutely honest I am not the greatest Sting fan but as the show contained both Kathryn Tickell and The Wilsons I created this for myself and friends.
