Comments: A lengthy show (24 songs) wraps up U2's week-long residency at Madison Square Garden. Gloria and Party Girl are played for the first time on this leg of the tour. The luck of the Irish strikes Alli, the fan brought on stage during Fast Cars. It's her second time dancing with Bono this tour (first: April 9, 2005) and third time overall. The planned setlist shows 'Walk On' and '40' as the final two songs, but last-minute changes lead to the Party Girl/Vertigo ending. Bono struggles with the lyrics of Party Girl, but all's forgiven when he turns the fun up a notch with an open bottle of champagne being sprayed over the fans up front
