Source: Sony HandyCam HDR-TG1 Lineage: m2t files > Re-encoded to mpeg2 with Sony Vegas > DVD Authoring with DVD Architect NOTES: 1) Like my Foxboro DVD, this again is not the whole show. I have so much respect for you folks who can stand there and shoot an entire show non-stop. I just can't do it. I try to catch enough to remember it by, but also want to enjoy the experience in the moment (especially when it's a $250 moment, lol). Running time on the DVD is about an hour and 10 minutes, with footage captured from every song. The Unforgettable Fire and Moment of Surrender are the two songs I recorded in their entirety. Highlights: a)Seeing the show from just outside the Claw instead of in the inner circle by the stage. Inner circle was amazing, but there was apparently LOTS of stuff going on over my head at the show in MA that I had NO clue about. Those big orange buttons lined up at the top of each leg of the Claw were actually lights? News to me! LOL. Definitely worth seeing the show more than once from various angles to give you the big picture. b) And Bono's laser jacket! Wow! He wore the same jacket in MA, but I think it was broken that night; while it was lit with red lights, never saw any laserbeams shooting out from it. c) Bono pointing out the full moon overhead during "Stand By Me" (I'm a big astronomy buff, so I knew it was going to be full that night, and had actually been watching for it to rise over the stadium stands behind me all through Muse's set. To have Bono point it out as well made me go "YEAH!") And a few things missed live that I noticed during editing: A) Bono losing his place in the song at the end of "In a Little While"; b) the shoutout to Edge's brother Dik just before Unforgettable Fire, and the guitar "gluunk!" that followed. Was that just an accidental "gluunk!" or a deliberate reference to how the band sounded while Dik was still with them? LOL. And c) the computerized voice that prattled on and on from the flashing video screen before Ultraviolet. Had a hard time hearing what it was saying there in the stadium; it was clear enough on the video for me to be able to google it and find out what it was from. :) For anyone who cares and wants to follow along in the DVD, it was exerpts from "Funeral Blues", by W.H. Auden: Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone. Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone ... He was my North, my South, my East and West, My working week and my Sunday rest My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last forever, I was wrong. ... The stars are not wanted now; put out every one, Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun. 2) Audio issues again, just like in Foxboro. Some distortion in some of the low frequencies on some of the songs, but on the whole, not too bad. Okay, that's it. Again, sorry it's not the entire show, but I hope you enjoy what there is of it. :) Hopefully, a complete shoot may still materialize from someone else in the future. Feel free to share this; any sellers will be tarred and feathered and/or drawn and quartered. My choice. U2torrents.com: Torrent 5318 (by sherwood01) Comment: Very well filmed Audience shot! Like said above it is not the complete show (it is more than the half show), there is the beginning of each track and then after a while it fades out. Nevertheless: Well done!
