Unfortunately, Bono miscued the band cutting Seconds short. Audio Recording notes (hoserama): My standard recording rig for the Sphere with a bunch of wireless receivers into a tiny little multitrack recorder. Did my usual removal removal of counts and clicks, although there might be some remnants leftover. Nice wide stereo mix with lots of punch from the drums. Video Recording notes (tapehead2): This filming project almost didn't happen. I had originally purchased a seat in front row of 204. When I arrived, though, the view was partially obstructed by an object attached to the rail--not sure what it was. There wasn't enough time to complain to guest services; it was highly doubtful they'd be able to reseat me in a suitable location anyway. I was forced to plunk down more $$$ at the last minute to get an alternate front row seat on StubHub in 209. The stress of the seating situation, on top of the ill-advised consumption of a greasy slice of pizza immediately beforehand, caused acute gastrointestinal distress which almost derailed the entire shot. Fortunately I made it back in time with minutes to spare and the new location worked well. I'm pleased my footage ultimately became the base angle of this multicam. I'm not happy it was sold though--see Sharebear/Hoserama's notes below. Multicam Drama Notes (feel free to ignore): O.K., who goes by dvddubbingguy on various board (and Olli66 here on U2Torrents before being banned), reached out to me at beginning of spring 2024 about doing a multicam for 11/3/2023. Tapehead2 gave him their raw 4K footage from the front row balcony of 11/3/2023. O.K. asked permission to use my IEM/AUD audio matrix. I confirmed that it would not "be sold at all", which he agreed, so I gave him a full 24bit version of the audio, which was even an updated mix from the previously torrent version. Several months fly by and O.K. has finished the project, and started posting about it on his mailing list. However, a little birdie told me that he was selling the blu-ray to folks for a low low price of 35 euros. I ask O.K. about it, which sparks multiple long emails. In short, he admits to selling the blu-ray to several of his "close friends" who want to support him financially for all the time and effort he put into this. He says only four people, but I have no reason to believe it. Again, he agreed to a U2torrents free release and to never sell it. Lots of blustering, but still selling. Guess my fault for collaborating with a known seller. In light of all this headache, I have rechristened him "bluraysellingguy" instead of "dvddubbingguy", which is a more appropriate online handle. To his credit, he did give me a digital copy of the blu-ray, which is this torrent. Despite all the drama, it's an enjoyable watch. Please don't sell this recording in any way - no cash for blanks, 2:1s, or any other form of "getting paid for your time". Just share it freely. Share for free. Burn and give to folks for free. None of the tapers or filmers made any money on this project. I'd recommend uploading on YouTube for an even wider audience, but Universal is on the warpath, so don't do that. But feel free to post and share on other free torrents, just include the original info file.
